What the usual journeys cost
Each card says where it starts and where it goes. Tap one: both addresses are filled in, and the booking shows the same price. Regulated Eure county rate, daytime; nights, Sundays and public holidays cost more per kilometre. On longer journeys, ask me for a fixed price.
10 journeys measured address to address, fares calculated exactly as in the booking. The extras set by county order (fifth passenger, more than three bags) are told to you before departure, never after.
The journey I drive most
Vernon station to Monet's gardens
- 13 min
- door to door
- €18–21
- regulated daytime fare
- 6.5 km
- no metro, no tram
The train from Paris Saint-Lazare stops at Vernon-Giverny, and the gardens are still six and a half kilometres away. I wait on the forecourt with your name in my hand, I follow your train's real arrival time, and I can wait while you visit.
Getting to GivernyWhat comes with it
- Late trains followed, no extra charge
- Return trip with waiting: suitcases stay in the boot while you visit
- Return trip booked in one go
- Card payment on board
The gardens are open from April to the first days of November.
Who drives
I answer the phone, and I drive the car
My name is Khalifa Benzina. I started BK Taxi in Vernon in 2024 and I work alone: there is no call centre, no platform, and no driver you have never heard of.
I drive a recent, roomy hybrid. It's quiet — which matters at six in the morning, and it matters just as much after a long flight. Four passengers, a boot that swallows suitcases, card payment on board.

Your questions
What visitors ask me
Do you speak English?
Yes. Not perfectly, but enough to sort out a pick-up, a train time or a change of plan. If it's easier, write to me — booking online works well and leaves a written trace we can both check.
How do I find you at Vernon-Giverny station?
I wait on the forecourt, right outside the station building, with your name written on a sheet. Give me your train number when you book: I follow the real arrival time, so a late train costs you nothing.
Can you wait while we visit the gardens?
Yes. Allow around two hours for the house and the gardens. I wait up to 45 minutes at no extra charge; beyond that, waiting is charged at the official hourly rate and I tell you the amount before we leave. Many people book the return at the same time — far easier than looking for a car when everyone comes out at once.
Is the price on this site what I actually pay?
For a journey booked in advance, yes: the price is agreed before departure and does not move, even in traffic. For a ride hailed on the spot it's the meter, at the rate set by the Eure county order.
Do you take card payments?
Card in the car, or cash. There is no booking fee and no surge pricing — French taxi fares are regulated, not set by an app.
Do you have child seats?
Tell me the ages when you book and I bring what is needed. It costs nothing extra.
Shall we go?
A train to catch tomorrow morning, a day in Normandy next week, a flight from Charles de Gaulle: it's the same number, and I'm the one who answers.
