Vernon sits on the Seine between Paris and Rouen, at the eastern edge of Normandy. The villages below are the ones I reach quickly, and the ones I know well enough to find an address without a satnav argument.
Beyond that circle, call me: if the journey is worth the drive out, I come. And for the destination there is no boundary — Paris, the airports, the landing beaches, Le Havre cruise port.
